My stay at Fairmont Miramar Hotel & Bungalows was impressive overall, but there were a few hiccups. I really enjoyed the location, as it provided easy access to Santa Monica Beach and local attractions. The dining at Fig was a highlight with excellent food and quick service. However, I was disappointed with the promised ocean view room, which turned out to be a partial view rather than the full view I expected. This misunderstanding, coupled with some noise from the outdoor bar, left me a bit let down during my visit.
